Celebrating the Women Behind the Vision

Chelsea Douglass, Director of Marketing

A collage of 14 female founders Innovatemap has worked with, each shown in a portrait photo. The grid includes colorful blocks with empowering words like "Conviction," "Community," "Resilience," "Determined," and "Courage," celebrating their leadership and impact in honor of Women’s History Month.

At Innovatemap, we have the privilege of partnering with visionary founders who create powerful solutions to real-world problems. In celebration of Women’s History Month, we’re honored to highlight the incredible women we’ve worked alongside—leaders who are redefining industries, championing innovation and paving the way for others. From healthcare to hospitality, advertising to real estate, these founders are building technology that truly matters.

We’re inspired by their determination, resilience and the lasting change they’re creating—and we’re proud to play a small part in their journeys. See how these women are making an impact and the advice they’re sharing with fellow female leaders.

Taylor’s advice: Seeking help, advice and mentorship can greatly support your growth as a founder—it’s a strength to ask for guidance. But never lose sight of your “why”. It’s the reason you started—that spark of belief in your vision. Stay rooted in that purpose, and let it guide every step forward!

Happy Box makes custom gifting easy, offering expertly crafted gifts, ready-to-send boxes in just a few clicks. They’re investing in automation to better integrate with client systems and scale operations, making thoughtful gifting even more seamless.

Ariel’s Advice: Just get started. Don’t delay, don’t plan too much, You have to get started—test, test, repeat. If you’re motivated, you’ll figure it out along the way.

Hannah’s Advice: Don’t doubt yourself. If you’re doing something innovative, new or disruptive there will always be people who doubt you—so absolutely don’t doubt yourself. There’s no time or room for doubt! Be confident and push forward.

Alyssa Antcliff, IndiAide

IndiAide helps individuals with cognitive impairments manage health and daily life through a centralized, easy-to-use platform. Now partnering with home and senior care organizations, the team is focused on delivering more personalized, coordinated care for the people who need it most.

Alyssa’s advice: Keep climbing those invisible staircases. While the stairs you climb may be invisible, the strength and resilience you gain from each step are not. Keep climbing, and lift other women up with you along the way. The oftentimes lonely entrepreneurial journey is better together.

Kristen Nunery, myCOI

myCOI streamlines certificate of insurance tracking, helping businesses stay compliant and reduce risk with less manual effort. After recently celebrating their 15-year milestone, the team continues to lead lead with a commitment to simplifying complex compliance challenges for their clients.

Surround yourself with leaders who champion your goals and bring their own strengths to the table. There’s nothing more powerful than a team working together to make something great happen. None of us does this alone!

Their newly relaunched platform makes it easier to match volunteers with opportunities in ecological restoration, community outreach and environmental education—while tracking the impact of every effort.

Betsy’s advice: Find trusted partners in people who see and respect what you’re trying to do. Believe deeply in what you’re doing, and be willing to put everything you have into it to make it work.

Megan Lohman and Jane Levy, Plan Forward

Plan Forward helps dental practices streamline operations and strengthen patient relationships through intuitive and effective membership plan software. As their new platform gains traction, the team is focused on product innovation and delivering a frictionless onboarding experience for customers.

Megan’s advice: Surround yourself with key individuals you can be vulnerable with, and trust they have your back. There are few things harder than being a startup founder—having a support system is everything.

Melanie’s advice: Trust your instinct.  Remember your why. Sometimes you may get lost in all of the things that come with founding a startup. Get laser-focused on your North Star, and listen to the people you’ve built your startup to serve. You had a vision to do things differently. Trust it.

They’re especially proud to support manufacturing partners as they preserve critical expertise and prepare for a more intelligent, AI-powered future.

Vanessa’s advice: Craft and nurture a personal board of advisors for yourself—separate from your business. These people are your sponsors, people who will pound the table for you even when you’re not in the room. Being a founder is so hard. It’s key to have these people who will continually lift you up.

Jessa Messina, YoJo

YoJo supports employee well-being through accessible wellness offerings like yoga, meditation, and counseling. Now expanding beyond the workplace, they’re making their app available directly to consumers—broadening access to mental health support for all.

Jessa’s advice: As a founder, it can be too easy to isolate. But some of the best ideas, innovations and problem solving comes from talking with other people. Keep a close group of friends and peers that you can talk out what you’re working on and bounce ideas off of. It’s not only good for business, but good for your mental health.

To all of the women building, leading and inspiring—we see you, we celebrate you and we’re proud to be part of your story.
